I'm Ben Hofstetter — Senior Associate Athletic Director & Chief Strategy Officer at University of Cincinnati Athletics (Big 12). I lead AI strategy, data infrastructure, and innovation across 30+ organizational units and 18 sports programs.

I joined UC in 2008, moved into Athletics in 2017, and created The Agency — UC Athletics' in-house creative studio. Along the way: a Regional Emmy as producer of Let It Fly: The Series , a CASE Grand Gold, ESPN College GameDay hosting, and UC's transition to the Big 12.

Outside the day job I build things: GoBearcats OS , Armchair AD , FamHQ , and the Schott Classic — my annual wiffle ball tournament, now a full registration/payments/brackets platform.

Now

  • Running the 2026 Schott Classic — tournament month: registration, sponsors, and yes, an inflatable outfield fence

  • Modernizing the fan data platform at UC Athletics — the next generation of how we know and serve Bearcats fans

  • Growing the UC Hall of Fame digital archive — every inductee since 1976

  • Coaching-adjacent: my son's 9U baseball season, with more software support than any 9U team needs

  • Rebuilding this site — and writing again
